Leeds United striker Mateo Joseph has made it clear he wants more playing time after being largely a substitute last season.

The 21-year-old made 39 appearances in the Championship last season, but started just 11 of them, particularly during the final stretch of the team’s promotion fight, playing just 63 minutes since March.

His future is therefore a subject เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย of discussion. As the Peacocks are reportedly keen on signing Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic. And if he does, it will have an even bigger impact on him.

“We achieved our goals as a team, but personally I wanted to be more involved in the final stretch of the season. I think I have to be more involved to continue developing as a footballer,” Joseph told AS.

“The season has just ended and we have to stop and assess. We are promoted to the Premier League. We will see what the club says, but I want to play more to continue to develop.”

Regarding the rumors of Real Betis’ interest, he said: “We’ll see what happens. Right now I’m focused on the European Championship and my goal for next year is to be more involved.”

“Like Spain, you can’t stay anywhere. Of course, one day I would be very happy to play in La Liga again.”

Joseph is currently part of the Spain squad for the European Under-21 Championship currently being played in Slovakia.
